This 11-week summer internship is designed for students seeking exposure to a professional, corporate environment. The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and practical application of academic knowledge while contributing to pharmaceutical science.
Internship overview:
This is a lab-based position focused on dosage form manufacturing testing, characterization, and stability monitoring. Use of equipment such as mills, blenders, chromatography, and dissolution will be required. Exact project details will be determined at the start of the cohort, and interns will be paired with various scientists.
Projects will encompass:
Set-up and safe execution of testing equipment
Data interpretation and problem solving
Report writing and presentation to project team
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assigned project tasks under supervision
Collect, organize, and analyze information relevant to the project
Participate in team meetings and scheduled check-ins
Document work clearly and accurately
Deliver a final project summary or presentation

Minimum Requirements:
- Senior undergraduate, pursuing a BS, Master's or PhD in bioscience field
Interest in learning about the department’s work and career paths
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Science related major
